Aaron is sick. He started getting a cold on Sunday and is now officially sick. I am taking tomorrow 'off' from my Bible study to stay home with Kara to sleep, eat and hope that we don't get it. The second I don't get enough sleep I get sick. Kara is supposed to have all of her 2 month shots on Thurs. and I am dreading it. Today I did a HUGE market trip. I haven't REALLY been shopping since we got home from Michigan. So many friends and family have been taking care of us (and the fast food restaurants nearby) that I have been able to get out of it. I got over $200 worth of tasty dinners and lunches to make.
Kara is doing great still--thank goodness. This is her new best friend. She smiles at it every time she sees it. Of course, I had to give Raggedy Ann a voice and then Kara really gets her arms, legs, and smiles going. It is hysterical. She even coos back to it.

I am thrilled to see Raggedy Ann and Kara. I love Raggedy Ann!!! Maybe Kara laughs because she thinks it is me with the red hair and all.
She looks so excited! Funny thing...my parents got Emily the same doll for her birthday! sorry to hear about Aaron being sick, I hope he gets feeling better really soon.
OMG! Kara is 2 months old today. CONGRATULATIONS on raising such a beautiful baby! I almost had a heart attack the other night when your blog didn't load.. I was freaked thinking you all were cutting it off! Just think 2 months ago in a hallway of a little hospital you met your daughter.. Still amazes me to this day.
I had that same doll when I was a little girl!!
We gave this same doll to Emily for her 2nd birthday and she is afraid of it.I've always loved Raggedy Ann...maybe she will grow into it. Marsha
