Swim Class

We enrolled Kara in a swim class. She did the first one with my mom and the second one with Aaron. She LOVES to swim and is such a good sport when it comes to trying new things.

Kara's New House

We got this house from our friends and Kara just loves it. She likes to go inside and close and open the window. It is still so hot during the day that the only time she spends in it is in the evenings.

Our Little Drummer

Just hanging out at home on a Sunday afternoon. Yesterday I had 8 ladies over to scrapbook. I didn't get anything done but it was fun to see everyone being so productive and motivated to work on their stuff.

Kara is doing well. She is very strong willed and wants to do everything herself. It is the age, I know. She is so stinkin' cute at times that I can't even imagine her screaming at the top of her lungs in Target.

Oktoberfest

We went up to my parents' cabin this weekend for the Oktoberfest. Kara had fun dancing on the stage and she even won one of the little carnival games. We bought the official stein for 2009 since it was Kara's first year. My mom taught her how to hold it up to her mouth and say "hellloooo" so it echoes. Thanks Mom. Kara had fun with Gramma and Papa as always. We drove home today and worn-out Kara slept in the car with her wonderful prize...a giant, inflatable, squeaking bat.

Tap Class

Kara did so well at her first tap class on Monday. My mom went and video taped the whole thing because Aaron wanted to see every last detail of it. My dad showed up toward the beginning of the class too which was a surprise. Kara just kept on dancing even though Gramma and Papa were in the room. She was the oldest in the class but more kids will probably join after Labor Day. I was actually sore the next day from doing all of the things with her. How sad is that? Anyway, many more weeks of cute pictures coming since I now have to get her tutus and cute girly things.
