We got this awesome new car seat for Kara. Supposedly it is the last one we will have to buy. We will see. It was quite expensive but had good reviews for safety and Kara liked the pretty pattern. My main concern is safety obviously because of my bitty 14-year-old Civic. I love my car and it will be awhile before we can afford a new car payment. Kara may be 18 before we even get her adoption bills and past infertility treatments paid off. It took quite awhile to get it to fit in my car but we got it securely in the center of the backseat. She still has to face backwards until she is one but she is definitely above 20 pounds already. We haven't actually gone anywhere in it yet. Tomorrow will be our first trip out.

Awww, you got the one I wanted! Look how cute she is, waiting for a ride. Maybe after high school Kara can get a job to help you pay off your infertility/adoption bills. It seems only fair. :) Miss you guys. Let's get together soon.

aww she's so cute...and she definantely loves helping her daddy :). I love the one with her sitting in the car seat. she's already enjoying it.
Bryce has been in the "big boy" carseat since July. He loves it. I can't wait to face it forward in a couple of more weeks. Hope her first trip out went well. She's such a cutie!
