Well, the numbers are still going up. They are going up even slower than before but they are still rising. We were doubling at a 74 hour rate and now it is at a 90 hour rate. (48-72 hours is how often they are supposed to double.) The ultrasound is scheduled for next Tues. May 23. I think I am doing ok; I had a really emotional weekend and kind of a melt down on Friday night. At least the numbers are still rising, right?

21dp5dt-1853 yikes.
Update to the update--Good news. Actually two pieces of good news. First of all, my very good friend, K, had her first ultrasound today and there was a heartbeat!! One more milestone passed. The second piece of good news is that K found a chart about doubling rates. It says that after the numbers hit 1200 they slow down a bit and the doubling time is between 72 and 96 hours! We are within range!!!

The update to the update is absolutely delightful news Kim! I am excited for the ultrasound next week... I will pray for a strong little heartbeat....lub dub, lub dub. I just adore you!
And... give K my congrats too.
Excellent news Kim, I'm so very excited for you and I pray the u/s on Tues goes well. Good news about your friend also.
I'm not sure if I posted this link here before or not -- but I love the http://www.betabase.info site because it satisfies my need to obsess about beta numbers and at the same time it's comforting to see all of these other successful pregnancies that have had similar beta numbers. I'm so happy to see the numbers continuing to go up -- I think we tend to overemphasize the "doubling in 48 hours" part to some degree. I'll be hoping for good things at your u/s...
I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.
Very good news - this is so exciting. Sending prayers, keeping fingers crossed for your u/s next week. Please post results when you can - we know you will.
Very pretty design! Keep up the good work. Thanks.
