We decided to paint the nursery this weekend. My friend, Nicole, willingly came over to help us even though it was 112 degrees outside. Obviously inside was much cooler but that kind of heat makes me want to relax and do nothing. We finished the room in 2 1/2 hours and I love the way it turned out. We put up blinds after the paint was dry last night and will finish it off with the border tomorrow.
(Edited--Ellie didn't have her teeth pulled afterall--we have to take her to a specialist and the dr. said to just keep an eye on them.)

The nursery is looking great. That was sweet of Nicole to come over to help, despite the heat. I'm sorry Ellie had to have two teeth extracted - I'm hoping she did great and is feeling better by now.

What a cute little bedroom! I can't wait for someone itty bitty to be sleeping in there.
