GIRL!!!!!
We are so excited. Our birthmother had her ultrasound on Tuesday and found it the baby is a girl. We have decided to name her Kara Grace. I wasn't planning on doing the whole "themed" nursery but now that I know she is a girl I got all caught up with looking at the beautiful girly stuff at the Babies-R-Us website.
We found out that the baby isn't actually due until Dec. 7!!! Our agency first told us she was due Oct. 21. That is quite a difference! Since she will be born via c-section it will be right around Thanksgiving. We are really hoping for the week AFTER Thanksgiving but will still be flying cross-country at the busiest time of the year.

Oh Kim, major congratulations on the u/s. I'm sure Kara Grace will be just as beautiful as her name. There's so much girly stuff out there, you'll have so much fun planning her nursery and layette. No matter when little Kara Grace is born, you'll be so excited making that trip. The busiest time of the year perhaps, but it'll be just like you and DH are the only 2 people in the world until you meet your daughter!! Then there'll be the 4 of you, not to forget the little doggie. I'm ecstatic at this wonderful news - please keep us posted.

Congrats on the baby girl news! That is so great. Wow, that is a huge difference with the due dates! You will have quite the holiday season this year!!!

Amazingly, I had always suspected that she was going to be a girl. I even had a bet with Kristina which she lost.. :)
