7:39am 20 inches 7lbs. 9oz.
She is beautiful! She has a full head of dark brown/black hair. We were all surprised. The birthmother's other daughter was born with a full head of very blond hair. She is just so perfect. We are still in shock.
We had a rather uneventful flight and got here safely. The only glitch was that the car seat was lost and my jacket was in it! It was about 32 degrees and we climbed down a staircase onto the tarmac. BRRRRR! My parents were on the later flight Thurs. night and all of their luggage was lost.
We got to meet the birthparents that night at our hotel. We had a great time meeting them, taking pictures, trying not to cry too much, and getting to know them. We went to the hospital at midnight with them to check her in. We got to hear Kara's heartbeat for the first time and we found out that we would be getting our own room.
Aaron is going to go back to the hotel and connect to the internet to send this. I will post again soon! We are in 7th heaven right now. :)

Again, I want to take this chance to tell you how thankful we are for the chance of having the two of you come into our lives. Although the times are "unusual" for us, we are ecstatic that you came into the hospital a couple, and left a family. I hope that we can remain in contact personally, as the two of you are the most excellent people. I refer to you guys as "Our best friends in the world, that we just met". We love you guys, and know that Kara is the piece that was missing from your puzzle, and we're proud to have been able to help bring that to your life. Although we all have our times down the road to look back, I can look back thankful for the love that your family (that we met :) ) had showed to not only Kara, but to us. I know that 90% of the credit goes to the birthmother, because sadly as a society as a majority they do it alone. Please do not forget me, as I will not forget you.
