I have SO much to write about and no time right now to do it. Most importantly, Kara is legally ours now and forever. Our court date got changed to this morning and we had to leave Cambria a day early to get back in time. It was awesome. My mom cried her eyes out, my mother-in-law was in charge of pictures and my dad was in charge of the video camera. We were sworn in and asked if we loved Kara. My reply was, "More than I ever thought possible." It was really special and the judge was a really nice man. My dad's comment was, "You know this is a lifetime sentence." And we both beamed. Parenting certainly doesn't stop when we turn 18 or 21 or 50. Our parents have loved us, supported us and felt our pain and our joy with us through our journey to Kara. We are blessed beyond belief. I will post more later about our wonderful beach trip (tons of cute pics coming) and the party we had this afternoon honoring our beautiful daughter.

I wish there were words that could tell you how much you mean to us, and how glad I am for such a great day for you. I hope this marks the end of your court trips. Can't wait to see more pictures
Congrats. Must have been a great day for everyone. So happy that both sets of grandparents were there for it. That is so neat. Can't wait to see more pictures.
It was official the day you met her...she belongs to you guys! I am so glad to be blessed with Kara in our family...such a sweet spirit!

I am beaming all the way from London. While I was not there in person, I was thinking about all of you on this incredible day as Melissa and I were running around London seeing all of the sights. I am glad things went smoothly and I am excited to see pictures and give you all a hug....and a little souvenir from London too. Aunt Nicole has been shopping. Love you!
Maybe I'm emotional because of the crazy preggo hormones but probably not. Your response of how much you love her made me fight back tears. We are so happy for you guys.
