I think we packed everything we own in Aaron’s truck and left for Oregon at 6pm on Sunday night. Neither of us ended up sleeping ALL night but I did drive some so Aaron could have a break for a few hours. We got here in record time—this morning at 7. We have been napping on and off all day. Kara was amazing on the trip. Every time we had to stop for gas or a bathroom break she would wake up, give us huge smiles, and go back to sleep immediately when we started driving again. It is wonderful to be here. It is over 105 at home and we are bundled up with a temperature of 68 here.
Aunt Nicole is taking care of everything with the A/C repairs (THANK YOU SO MUCH) and my dad will be stopping by occasionally to get our mail and pay our bills. They will all be joining us up here soon though.
OH!!! The big news of the day is that Kara got her third tooth! Top, front right. The top, front left and the one next to it should be in tomorrow or the next day.

Wow...she was really born to be a traveler! Even more fitting for your family! Glad to hear that she did so well. Hopefully she will still be that way when she is older. It is so difficult to get Emily to like the car for more than 30 minutes these days!

Wow, I was in Cottage Grove visiting my Grandma on the 23rd. We drove around Dorena Lake and I thought of you guys wondering which lake it was your place is on. I figured you weren't there yet and turns out you were. Maybe next time we can stop by for a little hello. Mike and I will probably pass through on the 17th and 19th as we go to and from a camping trip to Crater Lake. Which lake are you guys on anyways?
