I decided to let Kara try to feed herself though she hasn't really shown interest in trying. She was amazing. She is walking so much more and is so cuddly. She is 'talking' all the time and we can even figure out most of it. She signs 'all done' and 'more'. She has such a happy little spirit. I can't believe it is almost her first birthday already! So many memories are flooding back from this time last year--the excitement, the fear, the joy. What a year.

I can't believe this will be her first Thanksgiving! I just thought about that today! All of the 'firsts' are so exciting! Good girl sweetie!
It is amazing to see that a year is almost upon us now. As you say the emotions come flooding back, it's on both sides of the fence momma! I still remember sitting outside of the hotel waiting to go in and meet you, watching Aaron and his mom walk out to go get dinner and being afraid to be seen because we showed up so early. The little things..
