Kara was so cute today. Since we have been so busy traveling we decided to just sleep in and have a lazy morning. We got all ready and went to my parents' house for lunch. My dad and mom put together quite a tasty meal and we had fun watching Kara discover how to open plastic eggs. Easter will always be a special reminder of how the journey to Kara began. It was 2 years ago today that my parents gave us several thousand dollars hidden in Easter eggs so we could pursue adoption. And look where we are now.

And Easter will always have a special place in our hearts because of your parents. We are so grateful for them to be willing to do that for you two because without them, Kara wouldn't be blessed to have the two of you as parents. We love your families so much and are grateful for all of the love and support they have given the three of you.
The pic of Kara with her finger on her lip is TOO PRECIOUS! I love her little pigtails. My niece is almost four and doesn't have half the hair Kara has already.
This got me all choked up. Your parents are amazing.
I miss you guys! Let's get together next week. I've got a whirlwind of family coming through this week.
What a sweetie.. I am glad we are all back in town and got to spend time together this evening. I am so thankful for a special Easter gift two years ago that God used to bless us all with precious Kara.
