Aaron's friend from work has two baby chicks at her house. We went to visit a couple of Saturdays ago so Kara could see them. At the time of the picture they were four days old. Kara loved them. She wanted to take one home.
In other news--I know I haven't posted in awhile. Sorry. Kara and I have been so busy doing so much fun stuff that I just haven't taken the time to sit down and write. She is at such a fun age. She is able to communicate so much better every week and I can reason with her most of the time. She has started crossing her arms and growling when she is frustrated. If I wasn't usually trying to get her to do something I would be laughing my head off because it is so funny.
Today was supposed to be my last "regular" day of work with the kids just coming to drop off their books. I found out last night that it is a minimum day so no classes would be coming. I guess I won't be saying goodbye to my Tues. classes. Tomorrow I will have my regular Wed. kids dropping off their books. Next week I will be helping pack up the library and can hopefully get some extra hours as long as my mom can watch Kara.
