We went to the zoo with Krishawn and Keira (3 1/2) a couple of weeks ago while Aaron was at work. Since I don't like driving we loaded another car seat in my car and Krishawn drove us down to the LA Zoo. Since the zoo is so spread out over hills we took the shuttle to the "top" and saw lots of animals on the walk back to the entrance. We had a nice picnic lunch at a park area. Auntie Krishawn allowed Kara to have her first real water bottle and all Kara wanted to do was sip out of it while she walked. This took forever. Most of the animals were just trying to stay cool in the shade so there wasn't a lot of animal activity--except for the chimps and the giraffes--both memories I hope to forget. They had to do with animal waste--stuff they don't show you on the Discovery channel. Yuck.

I sure love those little girls! My favorite picture is the one in the car where Kara has such a big smile on her face.
Oh my goodness...Kara has grown so much!!! I love the picture of Kara in the car...just priceless!!
