Summer vacation has officially begun. I finished packing up the last box of books and turned in my keys. It was sad. Aaron and Kara came for the last hour or so and helped me. We went out to dinner and got ice cream afterward to "celebrate."
On Sunday Kara had a temperature of 102. We took her in to the doctor on Monday morning. She has another urinary tract infection. I am so bummed. She went for almost a full year without one and we were hopeful that she grew out of it. We will have to see if she stays healthy for the summer after this one clears up. I am SO hoping she doesn't need surgery.
This Sunday we are leaving for Utah for a family vacation with all of Aaron's brothers and sisters, spouses, children and his parents. It is going to be hot but so much fun. Kara will have a blast with her cousins. We will be home for a few days next week and then we will be off to Oregon.

Let's hope when you get up here to Oregon that the sun has finally decided to come out and the rain has stopped...... I know we do. Have a great trip.
