Yesterday was Kara's first doctor appointment. She did great. She is healthy and growing. Her weight is up to 7 lbs. 14 oz. She is quite a good little eater. Her umbilical cord was about to fall off so the doctor helped it along in fear that it might easily get caught on a piece of clothing or a diaper and tear off. Kara barely complained. She got her first real bath today and didn't seem to mind a bit. I think she liked the warm water.

Lookin a little tired there Aaron! Kara looks most beautiful. You guys have the admiration of everyone I work with, now with the completion of processes I have allowed others to know, and some have cried with me, grown men with guns crying.. anyhow, we're knee deep in our NRC FBI Force on force drills right now. We've won the first of 3 to do. Hoo Yah! Take care of your baby, and try to get some sleep you guys!
I love that I get to spend time with you and Kara. She is a little sweet pea if ever I saw one. What a blessing to have those precious moments of holding her and getting to feed her. I am a happy auntie.
She is looking more and more beautiful! Glad to hear that her first Dr.'s appointment went great. Eating a lot obviously! The first bath is always so much fun...I love the baby bath smell. Enjoy every moment
